The Loch Goil Open Tide Talisman: Hallmarked Fine Silver & Sea Glass – £135
Designed in my little studio by Loch Goil as a profound wearable somatic anchor, this substantial, one-of-a-kind talisman holds the very essence of the Scottish landscape. With an exceptionally heavy, comforting weight and a deeply personal history, it features a unique open-frame design that allows the natural, cooling energy of the sea glass to rest directly against your skin.
This is a bold, perfectly imperfect piece of wearable art, and one of my very first creations. The focal point is a beautiful, authentic piece of sea glass gathered directly from the local shores of Loch Goil. What makes this piece truly rare is the distinct, natural line running directly through the center of the glass—a beautiful imperfection that tells a story of survival and transformation in the tide. The sea glass is held securely within a fluid, hand-sculpted open halo of chunky, pure fine silver (.999).
Because of its substantial weight, this piece will be independently tested and fully hallmarked by the UK Assay Office in Edinburgh, guaranteeing the absolute purity of the precious metal. It is suspended securely on a high-quality, solid sterling silver chain.
It is intentionally designed to be felt. The impressive over 17g weight of the pendant resting against your chest provides constant, gentle deep-pressure feedback, which is known to help soothe and regulate a weary nervous system. When your mind feels scattered, reach up and hold the talisman. The open design allows you to feel the incredibly smooth, frosted surface of the glass on both sides. Trace your thumb along the visual line, and contrast it against the thick, rugged edges of the fine silver frame.
