The Earth & Copper Indian Agate Bracelet – £35
Designed in my little studio by Loch Goil as a wearable somatic anchor, this bracelet grounds you deeply in the energy of the forest floor. It is crafted to rest gently on your wrist, offering a tactile moment of natural connection and stability throughout your day.
This piece features smooth, round Indian Agate stones in a soothing palette of mossy greens, earthy reds, and quiet greys. Each unique stone is securely hand-wrapped in raw, bare copper wire, connected by meticulously twisted copper links and fastened with a handmade clasp.
It is intentionally designed to be felt. Copper is a highly conductive metal, meaning it warms almost instantly to your body heat, making it feel like a true extension of yourself.
When your mind races, drop your hand to your wrist. Notice the distinct contrast between the smooth, cool surface of the agate beads and the structural, rhythmic ridges of the twisted wire. Tracing this alternating pattern offers a highly focused, grounding loop to gently pull your awareness back into the present moment.
A Note on Raw Copper: I choose to work with raw, uncoated copper for its beautiful, ancient energy and natural warmth. Because it is unplated, it will gradually oxidize and develop a rich, earthy patina over time. You may also notice it leaving a faint green mark on your skin—this is a completely harmless, natural reaction between bare copper and your skin's unique pH and natural oils. The mark washes away easily with soap and water. If you prefer to prevent this natural transfer, you can easily apply a thin coat of clear nail polish to the inner side of the wire.
