This pendant is a bespoke commission, handcrafted in my studio in the Scottish Highlands. By fusing a small portion of ashes into .999 fine silver in a kiln at 800°C, I create a permanent, elemental bond between the metal and your memories.

Protected by a window of Scottish sea glass or famous hand-gathered Seaham sea glass, this piece is designed as a Somatic Anchor — a tactile object to hold when you need to feel grounded and reconnected to the love that remains.
How it works
The Commission
Once you purchase this listing, I will post a secure collection kit to your home.
The Collection
You return a tiny portion of ashes, approximately 1/4 teaspoon, in the provided vial.
The Alchemy
I hand-cast your pendant using textures from the land of your choice — driftwood, leaves, pebbles, or sea-worn surfaces — and fire the ashes directly into the silver heart of the piece.
The Return
Your finished heirloom is returned to you via insured, tracked delivery, along with any unused ashes.
Bespoke for you
This is a made-to-order original piece. Because I use real driftwood, leaves, and pebbles to create my silver casts, each pendant carries its own unique texture — much like the ripples on a loch, no two are ever exactly the same.
Once your order is placed, I will message you with a photo of my current sea glass treasure trove. You will be invited to choose your own piece and colour — from misty teals and deep ambers to classic frosted whites — so the pendant feels beautifully tuned to you.
The details
Metal: Fine silver (.999), with substantial weight for a grounding feel.
Hallmarking: Each piece will be sent to Edinburgh for hallmarking, which may extend the turnaround time slightly.
Process: Professionally kiln-fired for maximum density and tumbled for a brilliant, high-strength finish.
Chain: Substantial 18-inch sterling silver chain.
Glass: Authentic hand-picked Seaham sea glass, or local hand-collected Loch Goil treasures.
Pricing
Each pendant is made individually, so the final price depends on the weight of silver used, the size of the pendant, and any custom details. Commissions begin from £150, and I will confirm the exact price with you before I begin making your piece.
Bespoke commissioning
I offer three fine silver weight tiers to suit different designs:
10g — £150.
15g — £195.
20g — £240.
For larger or more intricate pieces, I will provide a tailored quote before work begins.

Due to the deeply personal and custom nature of the Carrick Reliquary collection, I cannot accept returns or exchanges on these pieces.
Cancellations
I accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. Once the collection kit has been dispatched or work has begun on your silver, the order becomes non-refundable.
