The Grounding Botanical Bud Necklace: Kiln-Fired Silver – £75
Designed in my little studio by Loch Goil as a wearable somatic anchor, this necklace captures the quiet, enduring resilience of nature. It is crafted to rest gently along your collarbone, offering a peaceful moment of connection and grounding throughout your day.
This piece is a fragment of the Scottish landscape preserved in pure silver. The centerpiece is cast directly from a natural budding branch, immortalizing the delicate, tightly furled buds and the organic texture of the stem.
Once captured, the piece is kiln-fired into solid Fine Silver, tumbled for strength, and finished with a dark, hand-applied patina to draw out the intricate depths of every tiny bud against the polished metal.
It is intentionally designed to be felt. When your mind feels scattered or overwhelmed, simply reach up to your collarbone. Notice the reassuring weight of the pure silver and how quickly it adapts to your body heat. Tracing your thumb horizontally back and forth across the repeating, deeply textured buds offers a quiet, satisfying tactile path to follow, gently inviting your nervous system to settle and anchoring you firmly in the present moment.

This listing is for the horizontal pendant only. It features secure silver jump rings at each end, ready to be attached to your own favorite chain. (If you need a chain, solid recycled Sterling Silver chains are available to purchase separately in the shop).
The Process: Cast from nature, kiln-fired, tumbled for strength, and hand-polished with an antiquing patina.
Weight: Centerpiece contains exactly 7g of Fine Silver (falls under the 7.78g UK mandatory hallmarking exemption).
