Negativity bias and Orienting


Do you know we have negativity bias?


We just tend to focus much more on negative things than positive.


In body oriented coaching we encourage orienting to joy and pleasure.


Wherever you are, let your eyes wander and if you find something supportive allow yourself to bask in the pleasant sensations and emotions around it for as long as it feels comfortable.


It could be nature, pets, objects, loved ones.. anything that brings peace and joy to your heart.


Our nervous system is busy enough with day to day happenings - by incorporating more orienting into our day we give it a much needed break.
