The Open Tide | Fine Silver and Loch Goil Sea Glass Talisman

This was one of my very first creations, and it holds the essence of the Scottish landscape. At its heart is a piece of sea glass gathered from the shores of Loch Goil, with a natural line running through its centre, a beautiful imperfection that tells a story of survival and transformation in the tide. A fluid, hand-sculpted halo of chunky pure silver holds it open, so the cool, frosted glass rests directly against your skin. Reach up, trace the line with your thumb, and feel the rugged edges of the silver around it. It is one of a kind.

Because of its substantial weight, this piece will be independently tested and fully hallmarked by the UK Assay Office in Edinburgh, guaranteeing the absolute purity of the precious metal. It is suspended securely on a high-quality, recycled sterling silver chain in your choice of 18, 20 or 22 inches.

It is intentionally designed to be felt. The impressive over 17g weight of the pendant resting against your chest provides constant, gentle deep-pressure feedback, which is known to help soothe and regulate a weary nervous system. When your mind feels scattered, reach up and hold the talisman. The open design allows you to feel the incredibly smooth, frosted surface of the glass on both sides. Trace your thumb along the visual line, and contrast it against the thick, rugged edges of the fine silver frame.

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. Once making has begun, the order becomes non-refundable.
