Designed in my little studio by Loch Goil as a wearable somatic anchor, this talisman captures the quiet, enduring rhythm of the tide. It is crafted to rest near your heart, offering a peaceful moment of natural connection and grounding throughout your day.
This piece is a perfect fragment of the Scottish shoreline preserved in pure silver. The pendant is cast directly from a natural shell gathered from the coast, immortalizing its gentle, sweeping curves and distinct, radiating ridges. Once the texture is captured, the piece is kiln-fired into solid Fine Silver, tumbled for strength, and brought to a brilliant high polish that catches the light beautifully.
It is intentionally designed to be felt as well as worn. When you feel overwhelmed or need a moment of calm, simply reach up and hold the pendant. Notice the coolness of the pure silver and how quickly it adapts to your body heat. Running your thumb along the smooth, repeating grooves of the shell offers a deeply satisfying, repetitive tactile path, gently inviting your nervous system to settle and anchoring you firmly in the present moment.
