Cold Water Exposure
In my personal healing journey cold water exposure was a mind over matter thing. I proved to myself that I was stronger than my limiting beliefs, fear and discomfort.
Realising this power paved the way to reaching for my dreams.
Over the last two years of my healing journey, I can honestly say that one of the most effective tools for managing my stress, anxiety, low mood, low energy etc. has been cold water exposure.

Not only does it teach me how to respond to stress better, but also perks up my mood and gives me a power kick. It also strengthens immunity, reduces inflammation, improves circulation and helps with weight management.

It makes me feel I can handle anything really.

It raises some kind of superpower in me.

And No, I still love fluffy blankets, glowing fires and hot water bottles.
I never liked being cold, and it took a lot of determination, peer support and mindset change to keep persevering with this chilling affair. It was so worth it though.

I loved Dr Michael Mosely and his sudden death saddened me greatly. I was glad to see his last program on BBC iPlayer ‘Just one thing’ ‘advertising’ cold showers. The idea of cold water’s potential to prevent Alzheimer’s just blows my mind.

I can help you to embrace a cold water adventure in a safe, non-pressured way. We can start as slow as you need. We can explore emotions around new challenges and your beliefs about your abilities.
Body oriented coaching is perfect for it.

Give it a go if you don’t have heart problems (check with your GP if in doubt) and you may discover a very quick, cheap and easily accessible tool to improve your wellbeing and overall health.

Small changes can make a huge difference.
