The closest airport to our location is the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).  We provide complimentary airport transfer from SJO for flights arriving between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Arrival Day.  Pick-up instructions are emailed to guests in the days leading up to their arrival. We ask that all guest arrive by 3:00 p.m. so not to miss the Welcome Orientation and workshop that follows.

Unfortunately, due to the amount of guests we need to transport, we are no longer able to provide transportation from hotels.  We ask all guests interested in our complimentary transportation to meet our drivers at the airport at the scheduled pick-up times.

Guests are welcome to arrive at 3:00 p.m. to the retreat center.  We ask guests to arrive by 3:00 p.m. to avoid missing the Welcome Orientation and the afternoon group gathering with Carlos.

Arrival day is for guests to settle into their rooms and get to know the staff and other guests who they will be connecting with for the week. A welcome orientation is provided to the group followed by a group gathering in the afternoon with Carlos.  An evening meal is also provided before guests settle in for the evening.

The retreat ends at approximately 09:00 a.m.  The group is provided a breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and the airport transfer for guests is at approximately 9:00 a.m.  If you need a ride to the airport prior to 9:00 a.m., we can arrange a private taxi for you.  The driver charges 20,000 Colones (or $35).  You will want to calculate leaving our property 3-3.5 hours before your flight.  Therefore, most guests generally look for a departure flight that leaves in the early afternoon. For guests staying in Costa Rica after the retreat, our staff is happy to assist with any transportation or logistics information you need.  We also have trusted drivers that are happy to take you to wherever you like at reasonable Uber rates.

Yes, we ask for your dietary restrictions and allergies during the registration process to make the appropriate arrangements.

At this time, we are closed between retreats and we are unable to provide lodging to guests aside from that which is offered during our retreats.

The weather changes drastically from one area of Costa Rica to the next.  You will likely encounter various climates during your stay.  Therefore we recommend you pack both summer clothing as well as warm clothing for the evening.  You will want to bring the warmest pants and sweatshirt as you will be going into a cooler climate in the mountains.

You will want to also bring:

  1. Bug Repellant (highly recommended!).  We ask that you bring a DEET-Free Natural Insect Repellent.  The natural repellents are made of essential oils and not pesticides such as OFF Repellent.
  2. Closed toe walking shoes for nature hikes
  3. Bathing suit
  4. Sunblock
  5. Personal toiletries
  6. Flashlight
  7. Water bottle

Please note, we provide the following during your stay:

  1. Yoga mat
  2. Bedding
  3. Towels

No, our retreat is all-inclusive and there are no additional charges or fees for any of the therapies or ceremonies you will be offered during your stay.

Guests will receive a refund of their deposit (less Paypal fees) if we are notified of the cancellation at least 30 days prior to the commencement of their scheduled retreat.  Guests who need to cancel or change their retreat with less than 30-day’s notice are encouraged to contact us as soon as possible. If we have someone on the waiting list that is able to fill the guest’s spot, we will happily refund the guest their deposit (less any Paypal fees) or transfer their deposit to another retreat week.
